There was a fair attendance at Epsom to-day if or the .-concluding day of the Auckland Trotting Club's Summer carnival meeting. The weather w : as again perfect and the track was in excellent order. Following are the results: — TAMAKI HANDICAP. Of £150; limit 3.42; 14 miles.

Winner trained by F. J. Smith, Takanini. .- . The Rustle —Ganton bracket carried most support with £413 10s from \Vannooka £231 10s, .Autumn Lu being lUtn fancy and entrusted with £l6l. Autumn I,u broke at the start but settled down quickly to lead early from Mountain Sun, XVIn Huon, Gala Day, Carl, Matunga, Rustle and Wahnooka. Win Huon broke along the back and passing the stands Matunga was showing the way to Mountain Sun, Wahnooka, Carl and Ganton. Matunga still held sway along the back Where Mountain Sun, Autumn Lu ana Rustle were in front of Wahnooka, Manna s Son and -Ganton. Rustle ran up to behind Matunga at the home turn and Wahnooka also made a forward move but broke. In a good finish, Rustle came through to win nicely by one and a-quarter lengths from Autumn Lu who beat Wahnooka by three parts of a length. Matunga was fourth and then came Manna’s Son, Mountain Sun, Ganton, Guy O’ Mine, Carl, Gala Day and Win Huon. Times, 3.22 4-5, 3.27 3-5, 3.23, 3.25 1-5.

'Clifton, Takanint. Most support was forthcoming for the Rare Rey—Rayon D’Or bracket with £774 10s from Transworthy £448 10s, Gold Dredge being third In order carrying £4lO. Star Pronto stood on the mark and was hopelessly left, while Rayon D’Or and Dillon Bond broke as the field went away. Kelson Luvan was the first to show out from Home Brew, .Rare Rey, Gold Dredge, Lucky Love and Transworthy. Approaching the stands Home Brew broke and Interfered with Rare Jley, Kelson Luvan leading past the stands from Gold Dredge, Transworthy, Horne Brew, Lucky. Love, Rare Rey and Winaway. There was no alteration along the back where Dillon Bond, who was breaking frequently, was well out of It. Gold Dredge and Nelson Luvan wore on terms crossing the lop Where Home Brew was handy in rront, or Transworthy, Lucky Love, and Rare Rey. Gold Dredge was just clear of Kelson Luvan as they swung for home where Transworthy had run up behind them to head Home Brew, Lucky Love and Rare Rey. In a nne finish Gold Dredge held off the fast finishing unlucky Rare Rey to win by a length with Home Brew a further hair length away third. Colonial .Boy broke at the start, Manco leading early from Dan Direct, Realty, Arabond, Pukerniro and Francis Lincoln. Along the back colonial Boy broke again, Manco showing the way past the stands to Dan Direct, Realty, Arabond, Francis Lincoln, Pukerniro, Sure, Colonial Boy and Willie Derby. At the completion or a further circuit Manco and Dan Direct were still in charge with Francis Lincoln handy in front or Arabond, Realty,, Sure, Pukomiro and Willie Derby. There was very little change along the back, Manco Just shading Dan Direct across the top where Realty and Sure were the closest of the others. Manco, Dan Direct, Sure and Arabond. were practically abreast at the home turn with Willie Derby coming fast close behind. In the run home Sure drew out to win comfortably b.v two lengths from Willie Derby who beat Arabond by a length. Worthy Light on the rails hut failed to reach him hy half a length. Glenrossie was three-Quarters of a length away third while Blue Mountain was only a neck away fourth in front of 'lndianapolis and Auburn Lad with the rest of the Held pulled up. Gumdigger was slow to go, Smoke Screen showing out and leading past the stands from Mocast (breaking), Gumdigger, Glandore, Homeward, Donum and Bingen Chief. Smoke Screen and Mocast were the leaders over a circuit and along \ the back, but were displaced in the lead across the top by Mocast and Homeward, with Bingen Cbtfjf right up and a gap back to Smoke Screen, Glandore and Donum. Mocast, Bingen Chief and Homeward were the leaders into the straight, with Bingen Chief handy. In a great finish the Hamilton representative, Bingen Chief, beat Mocast by a head, Homeward being four lengths away' in front of Glandore, Bracken, Kelson de Oro and Gumdigger. Time, 4.18, 4.18 1-5, 4.20, 4.22 1-5. The winner’s time was a grass track record for the distance. SECOND DAY’S RESULTS. '. i RIO L’OR’S WORLD’S RECORD RANFURLY TO WORTHY LIGHT.

The weather was again fine, the track was in excellent order and the large attendance witnessed close and exciting races at Epsom on Saturday when the second day’s events on the Auckland Trotting Club’s Summer programme were decided.

The favourite Te Kahu was first home in the opening event with Polly Pan and Audo Patch following In that order. Subsidy was a hot fanoy for the Great Northern Trotting Derby and he scored comfortably by two lengths from Proletarian. The 'Tramway Handicap resulted in a win for the fifth fancy Electric Bell with the eighth favourite 'King’s Play second to pass the judge. The favourite again came home in the Innovation Handicap, however, when Chan•cellor had the measure of Francis Lincoln by a length as they passed the judge. The chief event on the programme, the Ghampion Handicap, was an excellent race, the favourite Indianapolis making a new course record for the distance in winning from the 24 yard mark, while ROi L’Or off 60 yards established a new world's grass track record for the distance in finishing in second place. Ganton was most in demand with £1369 rrom Wahnooka £Bl4, while Guy O’ Mine was fourth fancy with £lßl I Os. Guy O’ Mine was In charge as they passed the stands the second time from Wahnooka, Gala Day and Matunga with Ganton on the outer. Walmooka broke going out or the straight and along the hack Guy 0’ Mine was five lengths clear of Matunga, Wahnooka and Ganton. There was no alteration In the order crossing the top, Guy O’ Mine loading into the, straight from Matunga, Wahnooka and Ganton. In the run home Wahnooka did best to beat Guy O’ Mine by Ihree parts or a .length with Matunga one and a-haif lengths away fourth, followed by Gala Day.
