DEATH OF DOCTOR.

INQUEST AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Monday. An inquest into the death of Dr. Michael Beresford Gunn, of Mount Eden, who was found dead in his bed on Friday, was opened on Saturday. Dr. Gunn, it was stated, had been taking chloroform for insomnia. An empty chloroform bottle was found on a dressing table. After evidence of identification had been given the inquest was adjourned.
