Mr W. O. D„ Ryall, manager of the Union Bank, Tolaga Bay, has been transferred to Wanganui.
Mr Edward Logie has been appointed conductor of the Dunedin Municipal Trajnways Band. Mr A. du Cros, one of the founders of the Dunlop Rubber Company, arrived at Auckland by the Akaroa,yesterday on a short holiday visit.
Majbr-General R. G. 11. HowardVyse, chlef-of-staff to the Duke of Gloucester on the present Royal tour, and Mrs Iloward-Vyse passed through Hamilton to-day en route to Taupo.
Dr. P. F. McEvedy, of Wellington, president of the New Zealand Rugby Union, arrived at Auckland by the Akaroa yesterday after a holiday visit to England.
Brigadier-General E. P. Brooker, a retired English Army officer, arrived at Auckland by the Akrroa yesterday to spend a fishing holiday in New Zealand.
The Hon. Miles Philllmore, son of Lord' Philllmore, arrived at Auckland by the Akaroa yesterday. Mr Plilllimore will spend six months farming in the King Country.
Dr. Bernard Myers, a New Zealander who has been practising medioine in London for about 30 years, arrived at Auckland by the Mariposa on Saturday on a holiday visit.
Lord Sempill, who recently flew from London, is planning a 10,000miles’ journey through’ Australia. He will visit Canberra, Melbourne, Tasmania, Adelaide and Perth before leaving for England.
Constable A. Christiansen, of St. Andrew’s, Canterbury, arrived, to-day to succeed Constable J. O’Sullivan, police officer in charge at Raglan, who recently retired.
