WEDDING.

CRAWSHAW—BPRAQUE. The wedding was solemnised in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Te Aroha, when Joan Ngari, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Sprague, of Herriesville, Te Aroha, was married to Colin Davy, second son of Dr. and Mrs J. H. Crawshaw, of Dunedin. Canon C. W. Turner officiated, the full choral service being carried out Eby the choir, of which the bride was & member. Mrs Scudamore presided &t the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, were a frock of magnolia coloured suede Albene, moulded to rthe figure, the skirt ending in a gracefully flowing train. The veil of Brussels tulle embroidered with gold was mounted on a coronet of'orange bios-' som, and secured to the train with a posy of orange blossom and gold tissue. Her beautiful sheaf was of St. Joseph lilies, caught with gold ribbons.

The two senior bridesmaids, Misses E. Strange and J. Turner, wore pale pink organdie frocks, frilled and bound with taffetas and finished with butterfly bows at the waist-line. Their hats were of pale pink Baku straw trimmed with posies' and velvet ribbon. The two smaller' maids, little Hilary Sprague and Margot McLeod, wore long frilled' organdie bound and finished with taffeta bows at the vyaist, while the head coverings were wreaths of pink and silver leaves. The bouquets were of carnations, gladioli, sweet peas and maidenhair fern in beautiful tonings of pink. Mr P. T. Rostgard acted as best man and Mr L. R. Sprague as groomsman.

The reception, which took place in the Parish Hall, was attended by over a hundred guests who were received by the bride’s parents. Mrs Sprague’s dress was of black lace with e mosse crepe coat. She wore a 'black hat of Baku straw and carried a posy of bronze shade's of lilies, dahlias, and asparagus fern.
