TROTTING

NORTHLAND CLUB. DECISION TO WIND UP. WIIANGAR El, Friday. The adjourned annual meeting of the Northland Trotting Club was held last night. There was a very poor attendance, only eight members being present. Mr. T. W. Bennett moved that, owing to the unsatisfactory conditions made to the club by the Whangarei Racing Club, which required £l5O for one day’s racing on Kensington Park. Ihe Northland Trotting Club cancel its permit and wind up its affairs. Mr. Bennett’s motion was carried unanimously. It was also decided that the executive committee pay all liabilities, including the secretary’s salary for the past three years, and any balance available lo be donated to the Whangarei District Hospital.
