SEQUEL TO BURGLARY.
ALLEGED RECEIVING OF G'OODS. CHARGE AGAINST HAIRDRESSER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. ■Following a police raid on bis shop In High Street ' yesterday, Edwin Joseph ‘Fearon, hairdresser, aged 29 years, was charged before the Magistrate, Mr Mosley, Itha't on or about November 23 tie received from Leslie Pearce, tobacco and .cigarettes valued at £99, the 'property of the New Zealand Farmers’ 'Oo-operative Association, knowing them to have been stolen. He was remanded until January 15 on bail of £loo,' a condition being that be is to report dla'ily to the .police. The police said that five other informations would be laid in regard to tobacco from five other “breaks.” The men concerned in the breaking and entering case would appear on January 8. *
