CAMBRIDGE PARISH
ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH. INDUCTION OF NEW VICAR. (Special to Times.) /CAMBRIDGE, Friday. The induction service of the Rev. Charles W. Chandler was celebrated in St. Andrew’s 'Church, Cambridge, last evening, in the presence of a large and representative congregation. The Rt. Rev. C. A. Cherrington Bishop of Waikato, officiated. The service was a very impressive one, the 'Bishop in 'liis address stressing the essential needs of a successful parish vicar. After the service an unofficial welcome was extended to the vicar and his.family in the Parish 'Hall. Mr. C. W. 'Boyce, on behalf of the parishioners, presented a fountain pen to the Bishop and a hook to the Rev. <C. W. 'Clark for their interest and services during the period tho parish was without a permanent vicar. 11
