LOSS TO HAMILTON.
LATE MR D. FULTON.
BOROUGH COUNCIL’S TRIBUTE}. “Although only'a resident In Hamilton for a brief spade, his name has been associated closely with its progress, and he was proud of our town, and all that was in it,” said the Mayor. Mr J. R. Fow. at a meeting ‘of the Hamilton Borough Council, last evening, ■ referring to the passing of the late Mr Dytaes Fulton.
’U-Ie took a pride' in all the material things contributing to the prosperity of Hamilton,” continued Mr Fow. “I think that the passing of one who was identified so closely and prominently with the greatest Industry in the Dominion, and upon which we all Indirectly depend, is one of the greatest misfortunes of the year.” He moved that the council should serjd a letter to the late Mr Fulton’s family and relatives, expressing its profound sympathy with them In his untimely end. A resolution on these Hines was carried, the council standing.
