THE AUCKLAND MARKETS.
GOOD LPST OF SALES. DEMAND FOR WAIKATO COALS. (By Telegraph—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Monday. The final week opened with confident bidding at the first call, and a good list of sales was recorded. In the hanking section Australians were quiet, Commercials were quoted between IGs and 10s Bd, Australians were wanted at £lO 19s, Unions at £8 IGs, New Zealands were steady at between 48s 9d and 49s 3d, and Reserves were in demand at £6 10s pel, with no sellers in view. Despite lack of evidence as to the likelihood of an imminent coal agreement. Waikato shares continue firmTaupiris had a sale at 17s Gd, a rise of 3s Gd in the week, after which the market stood al from 17s to 17s 9d. Pukemiros were asked for at 235, but Hi ere were no sellers. Colonial Sugars were easier al between £42 7s Gd and £42 10s Gd. Government stocks were in fair demand at laic rates. Sales Recorded.
