THE WEATHER. 'Dry weather prevails in the district, notwithstanding the tropical downpour experienced in other centres. Mr W. S. Cato, chairman, and Mr V. W. Simms, member of the waltomo Power Board, congratulated the distHct on the progressive step taken. Hay and Ensilage. Large paddocks of hay and ensilage are ■being harvested throughout the district owing to the phenomenally prolific growth of pasture.
