The special rorcoast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WalkatnThnmes Valley as follows: Forecast: Light variable winds at first, but southerly prevailing. Weather fair to cloudy, but a few isolated showers. Becoming cooler. Seas smooth to moderate. General inference: A slight depression is passing in the south, but pressure is still fairly high over the Tasman Sea and New Zealand.
