Competing in a series of special Invitation scratch contests against selected local athletes, the Canadian secondary school champions “ scooped the pool ” at -the Basin Reserve yesterday. Although no records were broken the standard in the various divisions was -particularly high. The visitors demonstrated their superiority by winning fO of the 12 events in which they tried conclusions with the representatives 'of Wellington Clubs.
