Suddenly becoming insane Alfred Michael Duffy, aged 30, a farmer at Loeton, battered his' 18 months’ old baby to death against a tree. He •then hanged himself from the tree with a 'Chain taken from, the neck of a calf. The baby’s body was found beneath the tree.
