EXAMINATION OF PLANE. MINISTER STATES -POSITION. WELLINGTON, Sunday. Preliminary examinations of the Failh in New Zealand, in which Messrs. R. G. Whitehead and E. R. Nicholl flew from Australia to New Zealand, have been made by the Government's aviation experts and further tests of the machine are in progress.

The Minister of Defence, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, when questioned as to Ilia position in regard to the aeroplane, said it seemed at present that the authorities were unable to validate the certificates of airworthiness of the Faith in New Zealand until extensive repairs, had been carried out.
