EXPORT SURPLUS IN 1935. WASHINGTON, November 4. That the. wheat crop will be approximately. 800,000,000 bushels in 1935 is the forecast in the report of the Bureau of Agricultural Economies issued at the conclusion of the week’s conference on exports. The report concluded: “The chances are good that the United States will have a considerable export surplus of wheat next year. Experts found little improvement in the world wheat situation., “The decreases of the wheat area in the United States, and to a lesser extent Canada, Argentina and Australia, have been largely offset by increases in Europe’s importations. The barriers against wheat remain very high in most of the Central European countries. A further improvement In the world wheat situation may be expected, but it will presumably be flow.”
