MELBOURNE CENTENARY.
INVITATION TO MAYORS. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. ,\n invitation has been received by Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Sullivan. Mayor and Mayoress of Christchurch, from the Lord Mayor of Melbourne. Alderman H. g. Smith, to attend Hie .Melbourne Centenary celebrations as the guest* of the Centenary Council. Similar invitations are being extended to the Mayors and Mayoresses of Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin. Invitations have already been accepted by llie Lord Mayors of all Australian capital cities.
