CYCLING.
NGARUAWAHIA CLUB, The usual weekly road race was held around the Te Rapa-Whatawhata-Nga-ruawahia block, a distnee of 29 miles. The course was a. fairly haru one, varying from sand to metal roads and including hills and long flats. Nine riders faced the starter and the race resulted as follows:—R. Travis (1 min), 1; W. Montford (scr), 2; A. Richards (scr), 3. W. Montford secured fastest time, lhr 30 l-ssec.
