PING-PONG CLUB, As the season Is drawing to a close, the Ping-Pong Club held a very enjoyable night, when the members played oil for the championship. A silver challenge cup is awarded to the winner of the title. Mr Fergus Boyd, who holds an unbroken record, was again the .winner of the men’s cup, with Mr Allan Boyd run-rrer-up. The winner of the ladles’ cup was Miss Alice Speake, and the -runner-up was Miss Margaret Boyd. After supper a short dance was held, the music being supplied by the local ladies.
