BROADCASTING POLICY. MATTER BEING CONSIDERED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. The Postmaster-General, Hon. A. Hamilton, told a deputation to-day that the broadcasting of controversial subjects is being considered, and a policy announcement may be expected shortly. He lias been discussing the issue with the Broadcasting Board, which had asked his opinion as- to how “ controversial ” should be interpreted. Nearly all controversial matters were interesting, some were entertaining, but a few were offensive. The latter should not be allowed.
