ACCIDENT AT CROSSING.

TWO MEN INJURED. TE KUITI, Thursday. Shortly before 4 p.m. to-day a lorry was struck by the mixed goods train on the Te Kuml Road crossing, and wrecked. The two occupants of the lorry, Mr R. E. Steele and Mr Ray Butcher, of Hastings, hail miraculous escapes from death. Mr Steele received a broken nose, broken ribs and scalp wounds. Mr Butcher has spinal injuries. * lured left hand and concusslos.
