MATAMATA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, Hamilton, report having held their usual stock sale at Matamata on Wednesday when a full yarding of stock came forward and sold under good competition at prices fully up to late rates. Following are the prices realised: — Sheep.—A small yarding. Medium weight fat hoggets, 20s to 20s 3d. Cattle. —A full yarding. Heavy fat cows, £3 16s to £4 6s; medium fat cows, £2 10s to £3 ss; medium fat heifers, £3 to £3 15s; light fat heifers, £2 to £2 15s; heavy boner cows, 35s to £2 ss; ordinary boner cows, 20s to 32s 6d; rough two-year steers, £2 ss; yearling Jersey heifers, good, £3 to £3 6s; medium, £2 to £2 15s; small, 30s to 355; yearling Jiersey bulls, £3 10s to £4 2s 6d; two-year Jersey service bulls, £3 10s to £4> 16s; potter bulls, £2 10s to £4 ss; Jersey heifers, in milk, £3 to £3 10s; springing Jersey heifers, £3 10s to £3 15s; cows in milk, £2 to £3 ss. PIO PIO STOCK SALE. i Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their tri-weekly sale at Pio Pio saleyards on Thursday, when a small line of sheep and a medium yarding of store cattle came before an attendance of local 'buyers. The sheep realised late rates, but yearling Jersey heifers and store cattle were dull of sale. Quotations: Fat woolly wether hoggets, 19s lid; yearling Jersey heifers, 26s to 30s; yearling Polled Angus heifers, 245; cull and boner cows, 14s to 17s 6d; empty heifers, 27s 6d to 345; yearling Jersey bulls, 2gns.

WAINQARO STOCK SALE. Messrs G. W. Vercoe and Co., Ltd., report having held a stock sale at Waingaro yesterday, when the advertised yarding came forward. Prices obtained were on a par with late rates and with the exception of one or two pens of odd cattle a total clearance was effected. * Three and four-year-old Red Polled steers from £4 to £4 ss; two and a-half-year-old Red Polled steers to £3 3s; 18-months Red Polled steers, £2 8s to £2 12s; yearling Polled Angus heifers, 30s to 355; yearling Shorthorn steers, 35s to £2 6s; yearling Shorthorn heifers, 25s to 30s; yearling Polled Angus steers; £2 to £2 ss; four-year-old Red Polled bulls, 51 gns. to 81gns.; Polled Angus bulls, signs., to 14igns; dairy cows, £2 10s to' £3 15s.

WAIHI STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Ltd., report that it their Waihi sale another heavy yarding of fat and store cattle came forward, and met with a ready sale at late quotations. Weaner pigs also sold freely at late rates. Quotations. —Pigs: Slips, 18s to 19s; weaners, 15s to 16s 6d.
