HAMILTON PLAYBOX.
“THE FIRST MRS FRASER.” One of the most successful readings of the season was given by the Hamilton Playbox on Thursday night, when "The First Mrs Fraser" was presented before a large audience. This, it will be remembered, was the play in which Marie Tempest made a great hit in London, and Ethel Morrison (the New Zealand actress) in Australia and New Zealand. Excellent work was done by the following cast: —Janet, Mrs E. Marsh; Elsie, Mrs A. Fahey; James, Mr W-Russel-Wood; Philip, Mr 0. Hall; Nlnian, Mr A. Swarbrick; Murdo, Mr J. Franklin; Mrs Murdo Fraser, Miss E. Becche; the maid, Miss M. Croucher.
