CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
THE CAMBRIDGE BODY. At the annual meeting of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce (lie acting-president, Mr S. Vale, preside 1 over a good attendance. The report disclosed an active year. The membership roll had been increased by 2i. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £2 His 3d. The election of ollicers resulted. — President, Mr S. Vale; vice-president, Mr T. Cl. Faville; executive, (Messrs 11. E. Amyes, E. J. F. Kennedy, S. R. James, A. E. (Hill and D. L. Mastic; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. 11. Woolley (re-elected). It was decided to write to the associated chamber asking if it would consider a reduction in the affiliation fees, as the levy at present worked out at about 25 per cent, of the members’ contributions.
