SERIOUS LOSSES TO OWNERS. VANDALISM RIFE IN SYDNEY. (From a Correspondent.) SYDE'XY, Nov. 8. The owners of untenanted houses la the suburbs are put to their wits' end to protect their property. In ono case, a house in Leichhardt has been stripped of everything moveable and it will be impossible to relet it without spending a large amount on repairs. 'Practically every article disappeared. In one instance, a few minutes after the landlord had completed Inspection of an empty house, a motor lorry drove up. The gas stove, eleotric light fittings and everything else moveable were taken away. At Waterloo recently, an inspector reported that the whole street was practically ruined, many houses having been raided.
