The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report: At Ivauroa we yarded cattle in medium numbers. Prices ruling were on a par with late sales. Quotations: Medium fat steers made up to £4' os, i fat co\w 30s to 37s 6d r tillable cows 22s Grf to 27s 6d, boner oows 8s to 12s 6<i, store cows 15s to 20s, Jersey yearling heifers 35s to 41s, 18-month heifers runing will bull £2 to £2 10s, service hulls, Jersey to £2 Od, Jersey-cross springing cows £4 to £6 10s, Jersey springing heifers £3 10s to £5. HIKUTAIA STOCK BALE. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report that.at their Hikutaia stock sale an average yarding of all classes came forward. Pigs attracted good competition, while dairy cattle were dull of sale. Beef sold Arm at late rates, while no alteration was recorded in store cattle. pigs—Porkers 23s 6d to 275, good stores 19s to 20s 6d, other stores 16s to 18s, slips 12s 6d to 14s 6d, weaners 7s to 12s. Sheep—Heavy fat woolly hoggets 12s to 12s 6d, heavy fat ewes 7s 9d to Bs, lighter fat ewes 6s to 6s 6d. Dairy Cattle—Springing heifers £3 15s to £.5, dairy cows £2 5s to £3 15s. Cattle—Medium fat oows £2 14s to £3, lighter fat cows and heifers £1 16s .to £2 Bs, fresh-conditioned cows 22s 6d to 27s 6d, boner cows 8s to 16s, bulls, potters 30s to 50s, small yearling Jersey heifers 27s 6d to 32s 6d. SPECIAL SALE AT MORRINSVILLE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report having held a special sale of Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne oattle in the. Morrinsville saleyards. The advertised, number came forward and the cattle looked particularly well after their long Journey to the Waikato. The quality of the whole yarding was exceptional, and particular interest was shown in the three-year-old empty heifers, and good prices resulted. There was a large attendance of buyers from Waikato and South Auckland districts, ahd taking the sale all ilii’p’ugh good competition was experienced, the whole yarding ohanging hands at satisfactory prices under the hammer. The Addington market was the first lince the "double” sale a fortnight ago, and In consequence entries were heavy. Features were an easing in prioes for beef and mutton and a slight advance in rates for fat lambs. Store Sheep.—There was a small entry. Wether hoggets were cheaper and values for ewe hoggets also had a tendency to ease. The sale generally was dull. Good owe hoggets made 13s 8d to 15b sd, medium wethers 7s 7d to 8s 9d, shorn halfbred 6s Gd to 9s 6d, ewes and lambs to 4s Id. Fat Lambs.—The entry was 1600 head. The average price per lb was 3Jd to 4Jd and In odd instances 44d. The top price was 16s 7d: . Fat Sheep.—An entry of 5600. Consequent upon the over-supply the market eased up to Is a head lor ewes and is to Is 6d a head for wethers. Extra prime heavy wethers brought up to 14s lOd, prime heavy 12s 6d to 14b, prime medium weight 10s 6d to 12s, ordinary 9s to 10s, light to Ss 9d, extra prime heavy ewes 14s Gd, prime heavy 10s to 11s 6d, prime medium weight 8s to 9a> 6d, ordinary to 7s 9d, light to Gs. Fat Cattle.—The entry of 490 head constituted an over-supply and there was a dull sale, with all classes easier by 10s to 20s a head. Best beef made up to 22s Gd per 1001 b, good prime beef 18s to 21s, heavy 15s 6d to 17s 6d, secondary to 15s; extra prime heavy steers realised up to £ll 12s Od, prime heavy £G 15s to £9, prime medium weight £5 15s to £7, ordinary quality to £5 ss, light to £3 ss, extra prime heifers £9 7s Gd, prime £4 10s to £6 ss, medium to £4 ss, light to £3, extra prime cows £7 7s 6d, prime £3 15s to £5 15s, medium £2 10s to £3 ss, light to £2 ss. Fat Pigs.—There was an oversupply of porkers In a very heavy entry of fat pigs. The market, was easier. Choppers made 25s to £2 18s 6d, baconers 35s to 4~s 6d, heavy 52s 6d to 57s 6d (average price per lb, 3Jd to 41 d), porkers 26s Gd to 29s 6rl, heavy 30s 6d to 84s 6d (average prloo per lb, 4d to 44d).
