MINIATURE RIFLES.

THE HAMILTON CLUB. COMPETITION SHOOTS HELD. The third shoot of the championship and handicap competitions of the Hamilton Miniature Rifle Club was held on the club range in the Drill Hall. Although some quite good cards were returned the shooting generally was not up to the standard of previous shoots. The best championship cards returned to date are (possible 2io) :—Page, 69, 68, 67, total of 204; C. F. Thomas, 70, 67, 67—204; Abbott, 66, 68, 67—201; N. Devitt, G§, 67, 68—200. The leading contestants in the handicap competitions are (handicaps In parentheses; possible 210): Abbott (3), 69, 69, 69—207; Page (1 ), 69, 69, 6S —206; Thojnas (i), 70, 68, 68—206; Kirk (4), 69, 69, 06—204; followed closely by Miss 0. Kirby (11) and G. A. Wheeler (8), both of whom have scored 199. The cards returned for the shoot were: Devitt 6S, Miss N. Tiseii, A. Abbott, I. Page, C. F. Thomas 67; N.
