A SERIOUS POSITION. RETURN TO ROUGH BUSH FOOD. CHRIS TGHUBCH, Thursday. A report on Maori mission work presented to the Canterbury Methodist Synod to-day said;—
“ The position is very grave .in many Maori villages, for the forced return to rough luish foods, particularly now that birds and tlsh are comparatively scarce, is seriously affecting health, especially of children.”
