WHEAT PRICES.
CARGOES FIRM. SELLERS RAISE PRICES. LATEST QUOTATIONS. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. LONDON, Nov. 3. The newspapers draw attention to the rising wheat prices, which are regarded as the surest indication of the turning tide. London prices advanced Is to Is bd, making a rise during the past six weeks of about 50 per cent. W’heat 'cargoes have continued firm in sympathy with the sharp advance in America. Sellers _ have raised their limits from one shilling to two shillings, but buyers are not inclined to follow owing to the improvement in the sterling. Parcels were strong at the opening, following American and Canadian advances, but reports that the Russians still hold considerable supplies had a quietening influence, while the rise in sterling also helped to restrict business. The futures quotations are, London: December delivery, ‘27s 6cl; February, 28s; June, 29s 2d. Liverpool: December, 5s 11 fd; March, 6s 3d; May, 6s s|d. NEW YORK, Nov. 3. The current quotations for wheat are; December deliveries, 62 cents March 65£ cents, May 66 5-8 cents, July 67J cents.
