The Daily Mail’s Paris correspond* ent ‘says that Germany’s Inability tC repay £370,000,000 due under the Young Plan and frozen credits advanced by France, Britain and United States was stressed by the German Ambassador in a lengthy conference with AL who indicated that France was willing, after referring to her allies, to reduce the reparations proportion. The United States Congress also might be willing to scale do.wn the xvar debts. He added: “This does not affect France’s claim to unconditional annuities, though the payments thereof ‘may be rfjstponed if satisfactory guarantees are forthcoming from Germany.”
