THE PRIME MINISTER.

VISIT TO LOSSIEMOUTH. WARM RECEPTION ACCORDED. FINALISING THE CABINET. (Omclal Wireless.) (Received Nov. 5, 12.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Nov. The Prime Minister will make us# of the brief respite at Lossiemouth, where he will remain until Sunday night, to give Anal consideration to filling the chief posts in the Cabinet. The pressure of work particularly with Indian Conference affairs since the end of his extremely strenuous election campaign, has delayed his decision on this matter. There is no truth in the suggestion that the composite character of the National majority has raised the question of party claims. The Prime Minister has an embarrassment of material at his disposal from which to choose, but will make his Anal selections of men most suited, in his, opinion, to assist him in the tasks he has undertaken. He will probably announce the appointments at the . end of the week. Great enthusiasm marked the arrival of the Prime Minister at Lossiemouth to-day.

In a speech at the civic reception he said the end of the election did not mean the end of the country’s troubles. Greater and more complicated problems had yet to be faced but his colleagues and he were determined to carry those problems to a successful Issue. The Government had no magical wand, but ho hoped by persistence, ability and courage they would restore the nation t*j her old position.
