OPERATIONS AT AUCKLAND. VALUES WELL MAINTAINED. (By Telegraph—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. Though sales on the Stock Exchange have not been numerous during the past 24 hours late values are well maintained. At 'this morning’s call Goldsbrough-Mort. shares changed hands at £1 4s, the highest price realised for a considerable period. Buyers for Dalgetys advanced their offers to £7 7s 6d, probably in anticipation of an early dividend announcement. The Banking section again attracted special interest, but no eventuated, though buyers moved their limits to ICs for Commercials, £27 for New South Wales, and £8 17s Gd for Australasias. Pukemiro Collieries were wanted at £1 9s, and Mosgiel Woollens at £G. SALES REPORTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. lhio following sales took place on the Stock Exchange to-day:— Wailvi, 15s Id. Goldsbrough-Mort., 245. New Zealand Insurance 40s 3d. Reported. Grand Junction, 3s Gd. Commercial Bank, lGs 2d. Now Zealand Refrigerating Co., paid 11s 3d.
