Gilchrist, of Te Aroha, was amongst recent callers at New Zealand House in London. • » «■ * Miss C. Willis, of, Papakura, is the guest of Mrs J. H. Hammond in Hamilton. • • * • The Ist. Claudelands Girl Guide Committee will hold a “bring and buy” afternoon and garden party on Saturday next, 7th inst., at Mrs G. Boyes’ residence, River Road. The Guides will give an exhibition of folk and country dancing, and if the weather is favourable the afternoon should prove a very enjoyable one. All interested in the Guide movement are invited to be present.
