THE MATANGI CLUB. OPENING OF SEASON. MATCHES ON SATURDAY. The polo season In this district will be introduced on Saturday, when the Matangi Club will hold its official opening. The match set down for 2 o’clock .will have the Eureka and Tauwhare teams as principals, while a game between teams of lady players will be staged at 3 p.m. Visiting players from Cambridge, Malamata, Te Aroha and Te Awamutu Clubs will also be participating in the programme. Admission to the ground is free and the festivities will conclude with a dance in the evening. Visitors are given a hearty welcome to the matches.
