LADIES’ GOLF.
NORTH AUCKLAND CHAMPION. WHANGAREI, Friday. The final of the North Auckland ladies’ golf championship was played this afternoon between Mrs Reynolds (Whangarei), last year's winner, and Mrs Beattie (Dargavllle), and resulted in a win for the latter after a very close game. At the 18th hole the players were all square. The 19th h.ole was halved. Mrs Beattie won the championship on the 20th green. AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. AUCKLAND. Saturday. In the final of Hie Auckland Ladies’ Golf Chili’s championship, played at Middlemore yesterday. Miss F. Rath- | bone defeated Miss E. M. I pion 1 I up. In the final of the junior cham- ' pionshlp Mrs E. B. Brown beat Miss M. Graham, 3 and 2.
