ADVICE BY “HIS HIGHNESS." INCIDENT ON A TRAM. WOMAN SMACKS CONDUCTOR. (Special to Tlma».l AUCKLAND, Frflay. Mrs Elizabeth Sllvorworth was convicted and discharged for assaulting a tram conductor by smacking him on the nose when he asked for fares for her children over three years of age. When she appeared In court she addressed the Magistrate, Mr Hunt, as “Your Highness.” Mr Hunt remarked that a woman shouldn't go about hitting tram conductors and added "she has a husband; let her hit him.”
