HOUSE RENT.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—Many ot your readers will have been puzzled by the sentiments expressed by your correspondent " Yorkie," but they will probably understand matters more clearly when made acquainted with a Yorkshireman's motto: “Hear all, see all, and say nowt; Eat all, drink all, and pay nowt,” and as regards paying house rent “ Yorkie ” has more ably expressed it than I can, namely, “ I canna’ and I shanna.”—l am, etc., W.
