WEDDING.
GRIFFITHS—OURTEIS. The wedding was solemnised on Tuesday, August 4, at St. Peter's Cathedral. Hamilton, by Rev. Dean Rarnett, between Mr Aubrey Ronald Griffiths, of Horotiu, second son of Mr ! and Mrs A. Griffiths, late of Rotokauri, now of Claudelands, and Miss Juanita I'velyn. eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs | W. A. Curteis, of Hamilton East, for- | merly of Gisborne and Stratford. The ‘ 1 ridegroom was attended by Mr A. H. | ‘Slip” Griffiths as best man, and Mr 1 .lack Curteis as groomsman. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an ankle-length dress of satin beaute. fully flared, with bolero and sleeves of ivory lace, finished at the waist with a satin belt and diamante buckle. Her veil was of embroidered cream silk net. and was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white spring flowers and maidenhair fern, made by Mrs \V. Lambie. of Hamilton. The bridesmaids were Miss Myra Griffiths, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Norma McKenzie, of Wairere Falls. The former was wearing an ankle-length flared frock of
satin with cape-collar effect; the I latter, pink organdie trimmed with rosettes of hand-made flowers. Roth I wore picture felt hats turned off the ] face with sprays of flowers, and car--1 ried bouquets of spring flowers. The flower grirl. Miss Norma Stanaway, I wore pink taffeta, with a rose trimmed ‘ pink net bonnet, and carried a posy
of pink and white flowers. Noel Kelly, cousin of the bride, who acted as page boy. wore a suit of while satin with frilled cuffs and collars. \fter the ceremony a reception was held, after which Mr and Mrs Griffiths left b\ car for their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a frock of brown ami orange flecked tweed, leather coat and brown felt hat.
