SCHOOLS’ ASSOCIATION. NORTH ISLAND TOURNAMENT. AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Entries for the annual tourney to be held in Auckland were received at a meeting of the committee of the North island Secondary Schools’ Foolball Association last evening. Wellington entered senior and Junior teams; Wanganui, a senior learn; Manawatu, a junior team; and Auckland senior and junior teams. This constituted a record entry for this tournament. The dates of the tournament were fixed for August 27, 28 and 29. The draw- for tournament games Is as follows:— August 27.—Senior: Wanganui v. Auckland; Wellington, a bye. Junior: Manawatu v. Auckland; Wellington a bye. August 28.—Senior: Wellington v. Wanganui; Auckland, a bye. Junior: Wellington v. Auckland; Manawatu a bye.

It was reported to the New Zealand Football Association this evening that a net loss of £3O was incurred on the Football Association trophy match Wellington v. Otago.
