WALKER AND PENCHEFF. TO MEET IN HAMILTON. THEATRE ROYAL. AUGUST It, The third bout of the Waikato Wrestling Association's season will be staged in the Theatre Royal on Friday. August 21, when George Walker, British Empire champion, and George Pencheff. the "Bulgarian Thunderbolt," will meet. Arrangements for the match are well in hand, and as both men are among the foremost grapplers in the Dominion at the present time, their encounter should provide plenty of thrills. Walker needs no introduction to Hamiltonians, as he wrestled here last year, when he defeated Scotty McDougall. He is perhaps he most versatile and popular matman that has ever visited this country, and he can always be depended upon to give fans a sparkling exhibition. Pencheff is a comparatively recent arrival, but already he has ‘proved himself to be a worthy opponent to the best. With a wide range of holds, he can be reckoned upon to give a good account of himself against Walker. Pencheff is only 2 4 years of age, but has had long experience in professional wrestling. The bout will be preceded by sev» eral amaleur contests.

THE PASHA-PINTO BOUT. PURSE NOT PAID OVER. WANGANUI. Tuesday. At a meeting of tlie executive committee of the Wanganui Wrestling Association to-night it was decided that the purse for the Pasha-Pinto bout last Saturday night be not paid over. A statement is to be forwarded to the council that the committee was of opinion that the contestants did not fulfil their contract. The contest between Pinto and Pasha was the first professional bout held in Wanganui for many years. Each secured a fall. Many of the spectators were disappointed witU the exhibition given. PASHA DEFEATS DEMETRAL. CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. Kara Pasha beat Harry Demetral In a wrestling match to-night. Demetral secured a submission fall In the second round with a liammerlock. In the fourth round Pasha followed a scries of severe headlocks with a Boston crab hold and secured a submission fall. Demetral was unable to continue, thus leaving Pasha the winner.
