CLAIM FOR £1000.
WIDOW NON-SUITED. AIJU.K LAND. Wednesday. In the Arbitration Court yesterday a claim for £lOOO was brought against Kemp!home. Prosser and Company's New Zealand Drug Company, Ltd., by a widow, Edith May Davidson, of Onehunga. Plaintiff claimed that her husband. Andrew Valentine Davidson, who had been employed as a leadburner by the company at Otahuhu for three years prior to his death on March 12, 1931. had" contracted lead poisoning owing to the nature of his occupation, the poisoning being the cause of his death. Plaintiff was non-suited, defendant company being allowed costs.
