THREE HOURS’ DURATION. 2700 MILES FROM DOMINION. DIRECTION OF THE SOLOMONS. (By Telegraph.—press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Dominion Observatory’s record of yesterday’s earthquake is very confused. It indicates its origin about 2700 miles away in the direction of the Solomon Islands. The Itremors continued for three hours from 9.6 a.m.
