ECONOMY IN BRITAIN.
COMMITTEE’S REPORT. GOVERNMENT'S ATTITUDE. NOT YET DECLARED. (Official Wireless.) (Received Aug. 12, 11.45 a.m.) RUGBY, August 11. The Prime Minister ( Mr Ramsay MacDonald) met the Chancellor ot the Exchequer (Mr Philip Snowden). In an Interview Mr MacDonald said he had completed his study of the report of the Economy Committee, but emphasised that the Government's attitude would not be decided until a meeting of t'he Special Cabinet Subcommittee at the end of the month.
