CAMBRIDGE SITTING. The monthly sittings of the Cambridge Magistrate's Court was presided over by Messrs Chas. Boyce and 3. R. James, J.’s P. Raymond Joseph James charged with negligently driving a motor lorry on the Maungatautari main road on January 22 and with failing -to keep to his correct side of the road, as a result of which he collided with a motor car driven by George Michael Clancy. Defendant pleaded guilty to the second charge, but not to 1 that of negligence. Defendant was convicted and fined 20s on each charge, with costa £i 3s.
