TWO SEAMEN CONVICTED. ONE IMPRISONED, OTHER FINED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. Two seamen who were caught looting at the big tire in Hobson Street on Monday were convicted to-day of stealing live pairs of shoes. Thcv pleaded that they had been Instructed by firemen to assist in salvaging. Owen Mulholland was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment, and Godfrey John Green was fined £5, or two months’ imprisonment.
