ACCORDED A CIVIC RECEPTION. • SCENES OF ENTHUSIASM. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. Lord Baden-Powell was accorded a civic reception, where scenes of enthusiasm marked the proceedings, /lie paid a high compliment to the spirit and team-work shown by New Zealapders in the Hawke’s Bay disaster, and said' it was precisely that spirit which he aspired to develop in the youth of the world, lie knew ail classes of colonials., and none came up to the New Zealanders for courage.
