BRIDES AND PUNCTUALITY
War has been declared in Paris on brides who arrive late for their weddings. Cardinal Verdier has instructed all priests to wait 15 minutes, and then to go on with the nuptial Mass, whether the bride is present or not. Cardinal Verdier says: “Marriage is a sacred institution, into which one must go well prepared. It is not a fashion show.”
