FOREST LAKE SCHOOL

MEETING OF COMMITTEE. At a meeting of the Forest Lake School committee Mr McCaw was elected chairman, in place of the late Mr Walsh. It was resolved that a record of Mr Walsh’s services to the school be entered in the minutes. The Education Board notified that subsidies cannot be granted for the present financial year; also that Miss Yocman has been appointed probationary assistant for the year, and that Mr Guy, of Swanson, was the successful tenderer for the additional room at Ihe school. it was decided to cancel the school picnic this year.
