The supporters of the general strike proposal, which is to be submitted to the Labour Congress to-day, are reported to fear that if the Congress resolutions calling the Federal Government to declare aj state of emergency are carried, and the Government refuses to 1 act on them, the New South Wales Premier may make a drastic move and declare a state of national emergency in this State, which v, oulJ counter a general strike.
