CHINESE STUDENTS ACTIVE. 300 ARRESTS IN JAPAN. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. TOKIO, Feb. 16. Three hundred Chinese, most of whom were students at Japanese universities, were arrested on October 19 and 29 on charges of having been engaged in Communist activities. Their examinations were concluded yesterday. Thirty-two of. the accused were committed for trial. In the meanwhile many have been deported. The charge stated that the intention of accused was to bring about a revolution first in China and afterwards throughout the world. In connection with a Japanese Communist, who was not, charged, the only activity in Japan which was mentioned was'his intention of blowing up the Chinese Legation.
