(Received Feb. 18, 11.30 a.m.) Visiting the British Industries fair with the Duke and Duchess of York and the Duke of Gloucster, the Queen commenced with the Marketing Boards bright pavilion. She shook hands with Mr. H. T. B. Drfiw, the New Zealand Publicity Officer, and remarked on the effectiveness of the display. Her Majesty expressed sympathy with the earthquake sufferers remarking, “how plucky they are, how quickly they are getting down to business rebuilding damaged areas.”
